- ✓ One assigned FIDE-rated coach, same coach every week
- ✓ Small groups (≤ 6) or 1:1, matched after a free demo
- ✓ Weekly progress note for parents; you can sit in on any session
- ✓ Reschedule around school terms, exams and holidays
Honest pricing for the UAE
ChessWize keeps one price list in Indian rupees (from ₹2,500 for 8 classes). Your card is simply charged the equivalent in your local currency at checkout, so there is no separate or inflated overseas rate. At recent rates that is roughly 15–50 AED per class depending on the plan; the exact charge follows the live exchange rate.

The UAE has an active junior chess scene centred on Dubai, which hosts the long-running Dubai Open, one of Asia’s biggest annual tournaments. Many schools across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah run chess as a co-curricular activity, so a child here can put structured coaching to use in real local events.
The UAE is home to one of the world’s largest Indian communities, so ChessWize coaches share the same language, exam-season rhythm and expectations many families here already know.

Online chess classes in the UAE: common questions
Can a coach in India teach my child at a UAE-friendly time?
Yes. India is only 1½ hours ahead of the UAE, so weekday after-school slots (3–8 PM GST) land at 4:30–9:30 PM IST — a normal evening for our coaches. Saturday mornings work too. You book a fixed weekly slot in your own local time.
How do I pay from the UAE, and is it more expensive?
ChessWize keeps one price list in Indian rupees (from ₹2,500 for 8 classes). Your card is simply charged the equivalent in your local currency at checkout, so there is no separate or inflated overseas rate.
Do you offer a free trial for families in the UAE?
Yes. Every family starts with a complimentary 30-minute demo and level check, with no payment details required. You confirm the coach and slot fit your child before enrolling.
Are the classes live, or recorded videos?
Fully live over video. The coach watches your child play in real time, corrects mistakes as they happen and adjusts each session — it is not a library of recorded lessons.
My child studies in a UAE school with a different term calendar. Can classes fit around it?
Yes. Slots are weekly and fixed to your timetable, and you can reschedule around exams or school holidays. The same coach stays with your child rather than rotating week to week.
How do you keep online classes safe for my child?
Classes are one-to-one or in small groups (six or fewer) with a named, vetted coach — there is no open chat with strangers. Parents can sit in, and you get a weekly progress note.
