Why Miami families choose online coaching
Miami is a major international city on Florida’s Atlantic coast, with dense condo living, bilingual school communities, and long east–west traffic across Miami-Dade. Families often mix US school calendars with multi-country travel and weekend plans along the coast.
Coaches are based in India. Miami weekday after-school hours fall in the Indian night, so ChessWize does not offer them. Staffable options are Eastern weekend mornings and a 7–8 AM ET weekday pre-school window. For Indian-American and other parents who want live English (or Hindi) coaching without another Brickell or Kendall evening drive, those times are the real offer.
Honest pricing
ChessWize keeps one price list in Indian rupees (from ₹2,500 for 8 classes). Your card is simply charged the equivalent in your local currency at checkout, so there is no separate or inflated overseas rate. At recent rates that is roughly $4–12 per class depending on the plan; the exact charge follows the live exchange rate.

Local clubs can be great for OTB practice when the location is close. ChessWize has no Miami centre. Online coaching fits condo living, variable parking, and parents who want small batches (max six) or 1:1 with a weekly WhatsApp progress note.

Can we keep classes if the family visits relatives abroad some weekends?
Weekend morning ET is one of two staffed windows; plan travel around it or discuss reschedule rules before enrolling. The early weekday 7–8 AM ET slot is the other option. We still do not staff weekday evenings. Test connectivity on the free demo before buying a package.
